We’re almost ready to ‘party in style’! Each year we’ve made it our mission to step it up a notch. Finding awesome partners, a great space, and fun entertainment. This year, for #YPOS7, we’ve really outdone ourselves. We put together a quick list of things to expect, for those participating in this year’s event… follow along:
The Venue: W Seattle is a swanky urban retreat in the heart of downtown Seattle. We have the entire second floor to spread out and party!
The Charity Partner: YPOS is partnering with Innocence Project (IPNW) for #YPOS7. IPNW frees the innocent and improves the criminal justice system in our state. IPNW is the only organization that provides free legal and investigative services to Washington prisoners seeking to prove their innocence and works to prevent future wrongful convictions through advocacy and education. Founded in 1997, they have exonerated 14 men and women who, collectively, spent over 100 years in prison for crimes they didn’t commit.
The Brand Ambassadors: The Gary Manuel Salon team will be running check in, coat check and helping out in any way possible during the event. Gary Manuel Aveda Institute makes people feel good about themselves in an atmosphere of innovation and excellence, enriching our clients, our community and ourselves. Looking for a great place to style, cut, or blow dry your hair? Gary Manuel has great stylists to help with every occasion.
Happy Hour: We love a good happy hour – always – so we’re offering a special, anniversary party edition, happy hour at #YPOS7. Join us from 7pm-8pm for $2 off your drink.
Photos: In addition to red carpet, step and repeat photo opps’, Fun Frames Photo Booth, is setting up a custom photo booth for the event. Fun Frames, specializes in corporate activations, brand launches, weddings, mitzvahs, birthdays and every other type of event. Their backdrops and props are on point!
Get your Fashion Sketch On: Back by popular demand, Galina (the Drawing Blueberry) will be providing sketches of all attendees in their formal wear. She’ll be there the entire length of the party so get ready to get sketched!
Champagne Pong: When was the last time you played beer pong? Well, we’re bringing it back with a classy twist (you are going to be in formal wear after all). Ping-pong balls will be thrown at #YPOS7… into champagne glasses. Get ready to play with people you came with or new friends you meet at the party.
Henna Artists: Decorate your hands with henna from the experts. Thank you to the American India Foundation Young Professionals – Seattle Chapter for providing really talented artists.
Snacks: Enjoy a hosted dessert bar, including treats from popular shops found at the market. Just as the late night munchies hit, late night snacks, provided by W Seattle will arrive. Soak up some of that alcohol with pizza… on the dance floor? Sure!
Digital Swag Bag: Most event hand you a bag on your way out the door with trinkets that might not even make it home with you. Not us. The day after the YPOS Anniversary Party, all attendees will receive an email with a bunch of discounts/offers from local companies – we call this digital swag. This year’s digital swag bag has a value of well over $200, including offers for events, services and products that you might actually use.
Attire: The YPOS anniversary party’s are a classy, ridiculously fun night to dress up and look your best. From cocktail dresses to suit and tie, to ball gowns and tuxedos. Get ready to party in style and look great.
Finally: This is a party for everyone ready to let loose and have a great time with great people. Get ready to dance, converse and allow us to say thank-you for all of your support.
If you haven’t gotten tickets yet, get to the #YPOS7 events page and do it now!
See you there!
